ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

 

            The preschool course is geared towards preparing 3  to 5 year old children for their eventual entry into grade school.  This course includes Pre-Nursery, Nursery, & Kinder levels which cover early introduction and further development of proficiency in words, numbers, shapes, colors, objects, sounds, drawings, speaking, writing, reading, and the enhancement of socialization skills and talents for music, art,  games and even language, all of which are vital to the development of child’s multiple intelligences.  Adopting proven methods of instruction, the preschool activities are designed to develop each child for formal elementary education.

 

            Our elementary and high school departments will definitely follow the existing curriculum required by the Department of Education for private schools and the curriculum and instruction framework of RCBN-ES.  INBCS is K to 12 Compliant.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES

 

Christian Living/Good Manners and Right Conduct/Edukasyong Pagpapahalaga/

Values Education – To develop the Christian nature of the learners through sincere understanding of the faith thereby making their words and deeds rooted in the Gospel.  To further develop students with desirable values by setting  their own  goals and taking active roles in transforming themselves into worthy human persons & citizens of this country.

 

Communication Arts (Filipino) – Nalilinang ang kakayahang maipahayag nang epektibo ang sarili, mahalin ang sariling wika, kultura at mapahalagahan ang panitikang Filipino.

 

Communication Arts (English) – To develop proficiency on the different phases of language – oral and written, higher order thinking skills, critical and creative thinking skills, a love for reading and appreciation for literary works.

 

Sibika/Hekasi/Araling Panlipunan – To promote love of country and awareness of the social nature of an individual and his/her  relationship with society, the country and the world.

 

Mathematics – To acquire understanding of mathematical concepts and apply them with precision and accuracy.

 

Science – To develop a keen sense of observation with an understanding of science concepts and discover new things through exploration.

 

Technology and Livelihood Education – To gain knowledge in technology and to cope with its fast pace of changes, to develop personality, to appreciate home and family living and acquire basic skills like sewing and handicrafts towards the development of an entrepreneurial spirit.

 

Computer – To gain knowledge in computer technology and to cope with its latest innovations, to come up with useful applications of software productivity tools and to appreciate its helpful functions in our everyday living

 

Music – To effectively express oneself through vocal and instrumental music and understand concepts leading to appreciation and eventually music production.

 

Art – To develop  creativity and aesthetic awareness of art using various media for expression, an appreciation of art works and a liking to be a producer of art.

 

Physical Education – To  develop a strong body by actively participating in well guided activities, and sports within their level of development.

 

Health – To explain the concept of a healthy person, to enumerate and differentiate the six dimensions of health, to discuss the risk factors influencing the health status of a person, to describe the health habits and practices of Filipinos and to practice habits that will promote good health.
